We are proud to bring you into the history of the finest soap factory in Aleppo.

UNESCO Recognition 2024
The art of Aleppo soap is now recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, an enduring gift of culture and resilience.
The origin, without filters
Each bar is crafted from olives and laurel grown under the Syrian sun, spring water, and just 0.02% soda that vanishes after a year of curing. Handmade, patiently matured, preserved as a living legacy.
Who controls it?
Here purity is verified, twice and in two countries.
- In Syria, at the laboratories of the University of Aleppo, every batch is analyzed for purity, microbiology, and compliance with the original recipe.
- In Italy, at Scienza Cosmetica, under the direct supervision of founder Dr. Barbara Catozzi — pharmacist, cosmetologist, and cosmetic safety assessor — we carry out tests and checks according to the highest EU standards.

All SAPONA products are registered and notified in the European Cosmetic Product Portal (CPNP), as required by law.
